The International House University Foundation Programme is designed to ensure that, on successful completion, all students gain automatic entry to a university degree course of their choice at a top Irish or British university.
Through its flexible, modular approach the Foundation Programme can prepare students with a wide range of individual academic needs and is highly suitable for students wishing to study a great variety of subjects – from Engineering to Business Studies to Accounting and Finance.
This fast and efficient method of entry to selected Irish and British universities is particularly suited to applicants who have completed their high school studies in their own country but do not qualify for direct admission to undergraduate degree programmes in Ireland and Britain. |
Academic entry requirements
The criteria for admission to the International House University Foundation Programme are varied and depend to some extent on the individual student. In general we expect applicants to have completed and achieved good marks in their high school diploma – equivalent to 11 years of secondary education in their own country.
English language requirement
Applicants must demonstrate as a minimum an intermediate standard of competence in English such as an IELTS score of 5.0 or TOEFL 175 (computerised test). |
