Our Team | | Larry Finnegan, Managing Director | Laurence Finnegan has been Managing Director of International House since October 2002. Prior to this, he was Headmaster and CEO at Sutton Park School, a position which he had held for 27 years. During his time there he established Sutton Park as one of Ireland's most prestigious private schools and achieved international accreditation for the school through the European Council of International Schools and The New England Association of Schools and Colleges.
He holds a Masters Degree in Education from Trinity College Dublin, and has been involved in international education throughout his career. He was chairman and founder of Icon International, which merged with International House in 2001 in order to provide the present full and extensive range of English language and educational services.
As M.D., his goal is to keep International House at the forefront of English language education in Ireland, to provide a friendly and personalised service to our students and to build upon the strengths of International House World Organisation to develop teacher training and Pre-University Foundation Studies in Dublin. |

| | Karen Nolan, Director | | Karen Nolan is founder / Director of International House Dublin. She has been working full time in the EFL Industry since 1990, both in teaching and management positions, in Ireland and abroad. Karen recently completed an M.Sc (mgmt) in International Business from Trinity College Dublin and she holds a degree in Italian and Spanish from University College Dublin. She has also studied at the University of Michigan and has attended executive management programmes at the Institute for Management Development (IMD) in Lausanne. |

| | Suzy Roberts, Corporate Training Manager | | Suzanne Roberts joined International House Dublin in July 2006. A graduate of Brunel University in West London with a BA in English Literature, she also holds the University of Cambridge DELTA, the Diploma in English Language Teaching to Adults. An experienced teacher, and Business English Trainer, she has recently moved completely into the area of Business and Corporate training and is responsible for designing and delivering tailor-made courses to corporate clients both in Company and in our new Corporate English Centre. |

| | Mary Grennan, Director of Studies | Mary is from Dublin and graduated from University College Dublin with a degree in Spanish and French. She also holds the University of Cambridge DELTA, and an MSc in Education (English Language Teaching) from The Queen’s University, Belfast. Before coming to IH, Mary worked in Seville, Spain, for many years. Mary is responsible for all aspects of teaching and teacher training at IH and she is a CELTA and DELTA tutor and teacher at the school.

| | Carmel Hickey, Assistant Director of Studies | | Carmel Hickey graduated from University College Dublin with a MA in English Literature and a Higher Diploma in Education. She also holds the DELTA in English language teaching. Carmel started with International House Dublin in 2000, having worked as both a secondary school teacher in Ireland and an EFL teacher in Spain. |

| | Agnes Skowronska, Student Welfare & Accommodation | Agnes joined International House Dublin in 2007. She is a former student of the English & Russian faculty at the University of Milan. She is responsible for all aspects of student accommodation in IH, and is also responsible for the welfare of students during their stay. In addition, Agnes manages the Reception Desk in IH's office on Camden Street. Before joining IH she worked in Poland and Italy in the field of education and modern languages.

| | Aoife Govern, Marketing Manager | | Aoife Govern joined International House Dublin in February 2002. A BSc in Tourism Marketing graduate from DIT, Aoife is responsible for all marketing activities including agent/client liaison, group co-ordination and dealing with course enquiries. |

| | Marta Newsome, Enrolments Officer | | Marta joined International House Dublin in 2006. A graduate in classics and an MA in development, she is the Enrolments Officer and in charge of the admissions office. Before joining IH, Marta worked in Rome and Brussels on EU projects in the field of intercultural dialogue and education. |

| | Ceri Griffiths, Teacher Trainer | Ceri has been with International House, Dublin since summer 2005. She holds a BA in Sociology and Social Anthropology and both a CELTA and DELTA certificate from the University of Cambridge. Prior to joining IH Dublin, Ceri taught English in the UK, Australia, New Zealand and Japan. She has been working as a teacher trainer since 2007.

| | Patricia Cordelle, Teacher Trainer | Patricia joined International House in 2003. She graduated from University College Dublin with a B.A. in Sociology and History and from the University of Strathclyde with an M.Litt in Media and Culture. She also holds the University of Cambridge English language teaching qualification, the DELTA. Before coming to IH, Patricia taught English in Spain, in La Rioja and Madrid. She has been involved in teacher training since 2007.

| | Tom Smyth, High School Manager | | Tom holds a B.Sc. and H.Dip Ed. from UCD and has spent all of his career working in the education sector, firstly as a teacher of Science and Biology and then for twelve years as Headmaster of De La Salle College, Churchtown. Tom is responsible for all aspects of the High School Programme including the guardianship service and school placement. |

| | Gerard Corcoran, Accounts Department | Gerard joined International House Dublin in May 2007 as a qualified Accounts Assistant (IATI) and payroll assistant (IPASS) from Dublin Business School. Gerard is continuing his studies at BPP College Dublin and is a part qualified Accountant (ACCA). Gerard is involved in most of the Accounts Functions at IH Dublin and deals directly with students and agents with regards to payments of course fees.
