The International English Language Testing System exam, devised by the British Council and University of Cambridge, is a key exam for many Irish, UK and Australian universities for entry to degree courses. The accepted score for entrance to universities is 6 and above. A one-month preparation course is sufficient for most students to have a firm grasp of the techniques required for the IELTS exam. The course consists of a 20 hours morning general English revision programme per week and 10 hours afternoon specific IELTS exam practice sessions. Students should be at upper-intermediate level or above before starting the course. IELTS tests are held at regular intervals in Dublin. For dates check www.ucd.ie/alc
A registration fee of €50.00 will be added to the above fees. There is no reduction in fees when a course includes a public holiday and classes are not compensated for.
Course starts on 1st Monday of every month
