High School Programme Entry Requirements

Age Range
Students should be aged between 12 and 18 years to attend high school in Ireland.

Level of English
The minimum level of English required for the High School Programme is Intermediate (equivalent to TOEFL 450, IELTS 4.5 or Cambridge First Certificate). It is usually possible to have extra English classes during the school year but students should be confident of their English language skills before embarking on a high school programme.

For those students who wish to improve their level of English prior to commencing the High School Programme we suggest that they attend our Junior Homestay Programme at Sutton Park School in July and August.

Academic Reports
To apply for the High School Programme, students must submit translated copies of their academic reports for the two previous years together with a reference from the school Principal.
