Cork Junior Homestay and Residential

Cork is located on the south coast of Ireland, 2.5 hours’ drive from Dublin and is the second largest city in Ireland. Cork is a beautiful city with a population of 160,000, boasting a unique atmosphere created by its friendly and talkative people. Our programme in Cork has been in operation since 2012 and is located at University College Cork, an 1845 University situated on 44 acres of beautifully landscaped grounds and only 15 minutes’ walk from Cork City centre. 

Our renowned Digital Media Programme is an integral part of our Junior Programme in UCC! Students can opt to take part in this afternoon activity and will gain real skills in media production, motion animation, and photography. Students will contribute to the school web based e-portfolio and parents can access webpages to keep up to date and involved with their son or daughters' stay in Ireland. The is a unique programme and we guarantee it is #serioussummerfun !

Need to know 

  • Tuition:- 15 hours of mixed nationality, group lessons per week. Each lesson is 60 minutes. 
  • Class timetable:- Monday to Friday, 09:30 - 13:00
  • Class size:- Maximum 15, average 12
  • Minimum course length:- 1 week 
  • Maximum course length:- 4 weeks 
  • Starts:- Every Monday from 25th June - 27th July 2018
  • Arrival / Departure days:- Saturdays and Sundays 
  • Age:- 9-16
  • Levels:- From beginner (A1) to Advanced (C1).

  • On campus modern apartments with 4 - 5 single rooms, living area, TV and shared bathroom.  
  • A varied menu for breakfast, lunch and dinner in the dining hall each day. 
  • 3 half day excursion every week. 
  • Full day excursion every Saturday (oacked lunch)  
  • Daily evening programme, including off campus activities.

  • Full board homestay accommodation, usually sharing a twin room with a student of a different nationality.
